It's been one of my favorite restaurants since I was a child.
The good time to visit this restaurant is March to October (as the view in other months is foggy)
And I would suggest a Pre reservation too as It's not easy to find a take for yourself, specially for dinners.
The must haves is their
Dal makhani
Malai kofta
Paneer butter masala
And
Breads (naans and lachhas)
I wouldn't suggest Chinese that much as their cuisine is more tilted toward the Mughlai side.
